HARRYFEST 2000 TRIP

Toasting Harry

We checked out of the fabulous Bevonshire Motor Lodge and went … where else? … to the Farmers Market for breakfast.  Randall and I had Mexican scrambled eggs, rice, beans, tortillas, and Jamaica.  Bracha had crepes with apples.

A camera crew was recording video for a TV commercial advertising the Farmers Market. While we ate breakfast, we watched them filming at the crepes stand and interviewing "customers."

After breakfast we drove up to Glendale.  We took a scenic route … up to Sunset, then over to Los Feliz.

We checked into the Hilton and requested a room with a view of the mountains (something we don't get to see often in Florida).

We met Andrea and John in the lobby then later met Pam Murphy from England.  Bill Blevins and his son wandered by.  Ted Parkinson introduced himself.  Then Sue Schnelzer arrived.

We sat and talked for a while.  Then we went back to our rooms to get ready to go to Curtis's place for the ….
