Download Arrow

Thank you for trying Arrow! Arrow is a "mailing list server" for Windows. It permits you to create and administer interactive or announcement mailing lists on your PC using a standard e-mail account.

Arrow requires an Internet connection to send and receive messages. Although Arrow allows you to "share" your e-mail account with your mailing lists, it is recommended that you have an e-mail account (through a POP3 server) dedicated to your mailing list (or lists).

Arrow (Release Version)

Arrow Mailing List Server for WindowsVersion 1.3.6 (5,284K)
This program (arrow130.exe) installs the release version of Arrow.

After downloading, run arrow130.exe to install Arrow. If you are using Windows NT, XP, or 2000, it's best to be logged in as an administrator when installing Arrow.

After installing Arrow, run it by selecting "Arrow" from the Windows Start Menu. Then select "Contents" from Arrow's "Help" menu and view the "Getting Started" topic.

Arrow (Beta Version)

Arrow Mailing List Server for Windows1.3.11 Beta (7,836K)
This program installs the latest beta (test) version of Arrow.

Note: Some people have had problems with the latest beta releases of Arrow. After installing, an "Active-X" error is displayed when Arrow is executed. If you get this error, install Microsoft's Windows Scripting Host then re-install the beta release of Arrow. This usually fixes the error.

If you manage more than one mailing list using Arrow, the latest beta version of Arrow may interchange settings between your lists. To prevent this, after installing the beta following the instructions below, download the executable file for version 1.3.10 of Arrow (it is listed below). Copy the arrow.exe file over the one installed in the directory where you installed the beta version of Arrow.

After the arrowbeta.exe has completely downloaded, close all programs and start Windows Explorer. Open the directory where you saved the downloaded file. Start the install program by double-clicking the filename (arrowbeta.exe).

Note: The default installation path may not be the path where you last installed Arrow. If you are upgrading to this version of Arrow, please make sure you install it into the same directory where you currently have Arrow installed.

Updated Executable1.3.10 (3,196K)
This is the executable used to "downgrade" from 1.3.11 to 1.3.10. If you have multiple lists you should use 1.3.10 instead of 1.3.11. Copy this arrow.exe file over the one installed in the directory where you installed the beta version of Arrow.
